I need to replace the composite video cable that connects my Apple //c to its 9" monitor.
Can I use any plain composite video cable with RCA connectors, or are there special requirements?
Would a regular "yellow" modern cable work? Like this one: https://t.ly/M7Ot
Yes, nothing special about the cable. Any composite RCA cable will work.
Any one including the one you link to will work, however it looks like a cheapie. You might want to spend a little more and get a higher gauge one with better shielding and plated contacts so it will last a long time.
I had one lying around and it worked, thanks.
That was the point of the video composite out jack on the back of the Apple //c: a way to have an inexpensive color monitor.
I used it to connect to my 25" Color TV and enjoyed color graphics.
