Hi Folks....

Has anyone here done this mod to your Color Classic:

I am thinking about it, but would perfer to chat with some folks who have done it first.

Thanks

mraroid3764,

I have not done this mod, but I would like to point out if I may Paragraph 3:

PLEASE do not perform this modification to a Color Classic that you're not also doing the Takky upgrade upon.

Sounds like a Warning to me. Smile

Re: using a 575 analog board in a Color Classic?

I would only do this mod to a Color Classic using the Mystic Mod, not the Takky mod.

Besides, I think a 575 logic board would be kind of happy connected to a 575 analog board. I also like the idea of not pushing components beyond what they were originally designed to do. This is why I am having trouble doing the VGA mod. But hooking up a 575 logic board to a 575 analog board seem less scary to me.

Has anyone here done this mod?
