My powerbook lombard runs stable and fast with 10.3. But an odd thing happens if i accidently knock or take out the battery or press the reset button on the back whe i try to boot it up again it comes to the grey scree with the apple then comes to a grey symbol that looks kind of like this

they only way i have been fixing this is to reinstall the os every time and this only happens if the powerbook was asleep at the time it was reset or had the battery knocked out
i fixed it, it seems i had to boot from my install cd and redirect attention toword my osx system folder.
