more help if possible?

Thanks to all who tried to help with my wallstreet problem (dead or just resting node 10833) It seems that the PRAM battery isn't the culprit. I took the internal battery out and it DID restart a couple of times, but now it's back to it's old tricks (boots up then screen goes blank after briefly showing desktop - LED blinks slowly).

Also IF I manage to get it started (using mains power), I can unplug the power and it'll run on the battery. It won't start from the battery though.

any thoughts?
