Revolution in the Valley, The Insanely Great Story of How The Mac Was Made.

this is truly an awsome book. I know what everybody is thinking, that it is exactly the same as what is up for free on folklore.org. in a way, it is, but it sure is nice to have something you can hold in your hands, and can read when you are away from the intrawebnet.

I also like how everything is in "rough cronological order". makes finding what specific area of original mac history you are looking for. everywhere from August 1979, all the way to May, 1985.

Also, there is a surprise introduction by Mr. Woz himself. There are also original handwritten notes scribbled on graph paper throughout the book.

oh, and also there are alot of nice photographs, both colour and black & white.

so, for $24.95, this is a nice bargan book. you all should deffinately go pick this up.

I love it too

I bought this book in January at my local Barnes & Noble. Great stories, great photos, great coffee table book. Buy two -- they're small.

yeah, I was at Borders spendi

yeah, I was at Borders spending the gift cards I got from christmas (I took my sweet time doing it too Smile ). I also picked up "iCon: Steve Jobs: The Greatest Second Act in The history of Business". I wanted "The Second Coming of Steve Jobs", but it, like "Think iFruity" (the 20th foxtrot collection), despite being told by the computers (running Windows, trust me, I checked) they were in stock, were sold out.

and, no, I only got one. couldnt afford two.

but it is hella captivating. I havnt put it down since I got it. (try typing one handed with a 20 pound book in your other hand). Wink

Yes I bought this book in Jan

Yes I bought this book in Jan 2005. In fact I had preordered it from Barnes and Noble.

I found out about it from Andy Hertzfeld's website folklore.org. I realy enjoyed reading both the book and the website.

I have no idea how many times I have read that book. I always enjoy it every time.
