Every time I press and hold the C key at boot like it says on the OS9 CD but the only thing that shows up is a blank screen with a folder and question mark.
Any ideas?

and it isn't the original install cd, it won't work. With the Dual USB, you have to have either the original install cd with OS 9, or you have to have 9.2.2 install cd as it has to be higher than the original OS (OS 9.1 or better for classic, or OS X 10.x (insert number that came with ibook) )
Hmm, from memory those can't run 9.1 but need 9.2.1(ish) to boot. Got any newer OS 9 CDs to try?
