I recently aquired several Zoom /PC Card DualMode 56K modem PCMCIA type II cards with the software/documention.
Are these cards workable with the Powerbook Macs?? These is no software for the Mac in these boxs. However will these cards work with the right software??. They do come with the dongle and all the right software for a PC Laptop. however not knowing anything about these I'm asking for a little info/help

Look on the box to see if they say "WinModem" or "softmodem" anywhere. If so (and they probably are), they're software driven, and will probably not run on macs.
Thanks for the reply. After reading your reply and very careful examination of the box I found that it does work on the Mac and supports OS 7.1 and up. however it was in such small print I almost never found it.
