A friend of mine is considering to replace the ATI 9600 128MB (AGP) which came with his Power Mac Dual G5 2.0GHz, and it's confused about the options: which cards can he buy? Any good AGP card even if it is not a Mac Edition model or something, like this Radeon X1600? Any suggestion?
I remember I had to flash a standard ATI Radeon 7000 (not Mac Edition) for using it with my Power Mac 9600 (the PC version was drastically cheaper than the Mac Edition version, albeit being pratically identical) - hence this topic ended in the 'Development & Software Hack' forum
