Firmware in iMac G5 iSight and bad sounds in iBook G3.

Where on earth can I get new Firmware to my iMac G5 iSight? But, how do I know if I need it? also, I also have an iBook G3 Combo, tha cannot play any sounds at all, perhaps in Classic mode. Alert sounds, sound terrible. Its only long shrieking sounds.
