it seems in my messin around with my lombard trying to hook up a 3.5" hd to the internal IDE has resulted in a rather poor showing... i am pretty sure i fried the IDE, because now even with a laptop HD hooked up, nothing shows in disk utility. it also takes alot longer to boot from the cd. kinda sucky for just experimenting and i thought for sure i had all the pins matched up right. guess i wont try to do that again..... grrrrrrr
there is a tiny chance that just the ribbon cable has broken, but im expecting the worst....
