USB Bluetooth Dongle with an iMac G3 DV running OS X (10.4.8).
Is this a possibility? Are drivers built into OS X?
Thanks

I bought a bluetooth dongle thats been working flawlessly with OS X without having to install any drivers. Drivers tend to be built in but check on the box if it is plug and play with OS X.
So that means I could actually make a use out of the camera on my cell phone! I don't have internet on the phone, so to be able to transfer any pics to my iMac would be great.
yea it will work if the system requirements on the box say its compatable with OS X. i have also seen stuff that dont say its compatable with OS X work (like my Belkin wireless G+ PCI card) works great in 10.4.8 but wont work in OS 9.x since there is no drivers for O S9.x to support this card.
i would imagine it would be the same for a bluetooth dongle. you just need to find the right one if it dont say its compatable with Mac. i plan on buying one for my Beige G3 AIO but i need to buy a USB 2.0 PCI card to replace my USB 1.1 PCI card to get any good speed from the bluetooth dongle. some even say they are compatable with OS 9.x also
Now if it only took better pictures.
