could it work?

. . . could it work in my 1G/2G iPods?!!? Inquiring minds want to know!

I'll have to look for the specs I guess. :? (label says model number is "MCCOE64G8MPR-03A")

*edit*
Press release with specs
Yep, it's the same interface as the iPod drives, see the PDF data sheet. "1.8" Type : 4GB,8GB,16GB,32GB are available." now I presume, with the 64GB version scheduled for sometime in Q2 2007

OK, nevermind

I'm completely silly, these drives are gonzo expensive, the 32GB versions are in the 2 grand price range.

grumble, grumble, a good 1/2 hour wasted on silliness.

I wouldn't waste the money on

I wouldn't waste the money on that when they've already got 100GB 1.8" drives out there. Yeah, they're not flash, but they're big, and not terribly expensive.

ahh, this is more like it . . .

note to self: froogling the 60GB Toshiba MK6006GAH suggests they're currently selling new for ~US$130, rather more my speed. Were I in the market. Right. OK.

hmmmph
