Ok, So I got this idea.....
Put together a musical group of Macs:
PowerTower Pro G3 - on Power vocals
GigE G4 - on Lead guitar
Lombard G3 - on Rhythm guitar
B&W G3 - on Bass
2nd B&W G3 - on Percussion
The idea is to put each track on each machine and then set them all up in front of microphones and record it through a board. Just like a real band, but using each Mac as the band members, each playing their own instrument all together in sync.
The band is called... Apple and the Macs of course !
I ran out of newer Macs to use so I added the 2nd B&W G3 but I have some older Macs I can use also but nothing running OS X.
So What's the best way to attack this ?
All but the PTPro run OS X and I could put 10.3 on the PTPro if I need OS X on all of them but I figured I would use the Mac voices in OS 9 for the vocals.
What app(s) would be best for putting down the tracks ?
Any other ideas or thoughts ???
I would also want to video tape the song and make a complete Mac music video out of the whole thing.
Whaddya think ?
PowerMac 6400/6500 on Bass and you're good Unless some other model had a subwoofer too. 20th Anniv.?
Good idea, and I have a 6400/180 set-up. I can't believe I didn't think of that..... I could even hook up my iSub for even more pounding bass.
A TAM would be better but I don't have any lying around ;-(
