So im thinking about buying a superdrive to put in my g3 500mhz blueberry. What I want to know is:
If I put a superdrive in, will I be able to watch DVD's on the iMac, or do I need one of the DV cards or whatever they are?

it does it at software level. Just pop in the DVD and start the DVD Player.
