.dsk, Quadra 605 and a IIe Card

Can I use the Quadra and the IIe card to create 5.25" disks from a .dsk file?

There was an AE drive for the LC IIe card at one of the local shops, NIB. If there's any interest I can go by and see if it's still there.

I have a a couple of 5.25 drives

I have a a couple of 5.25 drives. 2 Disk ]['s for the IIe and a 5.25 for the GS, along with a 3.5 for the GS.

Tell me more about the AE drive for the IIe card, please.

All I know is that it is an external 5.25" drive, much like a typical beige drive of the era. The packaging had several different models/types on it and it was marked for the LC IIe card model.

Do you have the cable?

I understand the IIe card comes with a Y-cable that you need to connect to external drives. Do you (still) have one?

Yes

I have the Y cable. I picked up the card and cable NIB a couple of years back.
