Apple IIc GUI Ghost

On a few websites, I've found evidence for a GUI for the Apple IIc. Some called it MouseDesk others called it MouseWorks. I want more information on this. I could find very few sites about this led allone a disk image. Could anybody send me an immage?

Also, will a mouse from an old Mac work on the apple IIc?

Thanks,
Mark baldridge

Yup

Yes there was a GUI, a ProDOS shell, complete with a "desktop" called MouseDesk (I think that I have version 1.1, buried somewhere). It was o.k.. I don't think that you could reset the background color, and it was kind of a gross pinky color.

Yes, I think the first Mac mouse is compatible with a //c.

Mousedesk

If you have the ability to transfer disk images between your PC/Mac and your Apple II you can download a 5.25 disk image of Mousedesk from here:

Just my two cents worth,
