Ok so pretty much i always steered clear of macs only because they look confusing, well i gave in and got a blueberry clamshell on ebay, thing is i cant do anything with 6gb of memory, my ipod has more memory than that, at any rate i really want to replace the hard drive and i went to replace everything when i realised this thing doesnt have a dvd drive so i cant put os x back on that way, so is there anyway someone on here could help me, im trying to change it to an 80 gb hard drive and i just have no clue as to what to do. should i just mac it an external hd or i dont know this is all overwhelming, could someone please help!!

as for installing the hard drive, good luck, because the clamshells are the hardest things to get into.

As for no DVD drive, there are CD versions of OS X. Look around.
Also, the original clamshells can only run up to Mac OS X 10.3 Panther, but the ones with a firewire port can run up to Mac OS X Tiger. This is officially, there are hacks to get tiger on the original clamshells, but they are not for first timers.
