Looks Like Plastic...

Jermy,

They look like they're plastic. Can you shave them down with an Exacto Knife or grind them down with a Dremel Tool?

Aculally these little guys ar

Aculally these little guys are metal. I was able to get some off by inserting a small flat head screw drive under the bottom of the "washer" on the other side and prying them off with the help of needle nose pliers.

But these won't come loose. They are wedged in the back to make matters worse. Picture: http://www.applefritter.com/node/24142

Thanks

Ok. Found another screwdriver

Ok. Found another screwdriver with a flatter blade and wedged it under the "washer" and pried the washer up. I plan to document the process.
