Hi,
I want to be able to connect my iBook to the internet as well as my pc without networking. Is their any way that my iBook can "tap in" to the internet connection that is already running? I am using a 56k connection.
Thanks
Oli

Without networking? You'll have to network them to share the internet connection...
Please explain in greater detail how you would want to share the conenction without networking.
Lets say my sister is working on the internet upstairs on my pc. I am downstairs on my iBook wanting to go on the internet. I want both computers to be on the internet without any cables between them and I cant afford wireless. Any more questions?
Without some sort of networking between the two machines, I'm not aware of any way to do it.
I'll google it. Anyone else??
Tapping your red shoes together three times should do it.

I do not own red shoes. My name is not Dorothy. I am not in Oz.
Okay, then, but what you're asking is:
"I have two computers. They're not plugged together in any way, I don't want to plug them together, and I don't want to use wireless. How do I make them talk?"
That pretty much narrows the options down to metaphysical solutions. What medium *do* you intend the bits to travel over? Sound waves? Infrared? Tachyons?
