I'd be interested in buying the Mac described above (iBook 600-900) for parts.
"Dead" as in the following symptoms (iBooks that aren't covered under the Apple coverage of such stuff, pre May 2002):
Scrambled or distorted video
Appearance of unexpected lines on the screen
Intermittent video image
Video freeze
Computer starts up to blank screen
