apple II keyboard replacement
Please don't post a thread more than once. If you need to add something, reply within the original thread.
Thanks.
So far as your keyboard goes, they're easy enough to build if you have far too much time on your hands. I know I hacked a Mac Plus keyboard to work with a //e.
It'd help if you said which Apple II the keyboard was for and which keyboard you have since most Apple IIs used more than one.

Sorry about the multiple postings, I was hitting refresh to see if there were any replies.
I have 2 apple II's. One has a key board with smooth keys and individual screws for each key. The other i havent taken apart yet, its doesnt have individual screws for each key but has some cover over the whole assembly with a few tiny screws holding them in.
How would would be able to tell which keyboard is which is there an assembly number i could get off the keyboards?
Thanks

The question regarding "different Apple II keyboards"
I believe, was in reference to the many different Apple
II models there are. There is the original Apple II, the
Apple II+, and the Apple IIe, //e, and finally the big
enhanced Apple //e Platinum Plus. Also the Apple IIgs.
And even the "portable" Apple //c and //c+.
These models use different keyboards/key arrangements as
they developed and were upgraded. You need to be more spe-
cific as to exactly what Apple II model of computer that
you have.
Hope this is of some help.
