I hope that I've come to the right forum to post this question ...
I'm looking for some help with my StyleWriter 2500.
I haven't used it for a while. Put new ink tanks in but still can't get a print out from the printer. Paper feeds fine. If I take out the ink tanks the little ink pads on them are not dry.
I don't know where the actual print head is ... I think that the head must be gummed up and just needs to be cleaned/nozzles need to be cleared.
1. Where is the head located? Is it on the box cartridge that the two ink tanks sit inside? or is it on the slider mount that the box cartridge slides into?
2. What's the best way to clean the head? I've heard that a cotton bud is not good, but a spritz of water is good ... also that a drop of Windex ought to do the job.
If there's anyone out there who knows and/or has actually done this, please let me know. I've checked the Apple manuals for this printer and they don't shed any light on my question.
Thanks
Submitting the same post eight times will only get the mods mad at you.
Hi
I'm appalled and embarrassed ... how on earth did I manage to submit it eight times???
Is there a way to cancel the mysterious multiplied posts??
Thanks for pointing this out ... I have NO idea how that happened.
I already have. But just click the submit button once, OK?
