just what the title says. I have an ibook 366 with a battery i got brand new about a year ago. It worked fine holing about 2.5 hours charge. I left the ibook on plugged in downloading something for about 3 days straight. when the download was done, i restarted. After that restart the battery charges to 1% and shows the little plug icon that says it is completely charged. i unplug it and it only works for about 3 min. i try again and the same thing happens. i reset the PRAM and powermanager, also put a clean install of OS 10.3 on and it still has this problem. is there a battery recondition app out there i can use? anyone know what to do?

what happened is that the "Smart" circutry is confused... If there is some way to reset it you can... I will get back to you on this and will do some research as how to do it...
on Start chime: Hold down: "Command + Alt + O+ F "and boot into Open Firmware and type "reset-nvram", followed by "reset-all"
