Can I retrieve an Airport Base Station password?

I managed to find an old Airport WLAN Base Station (V3.84) from a friend of mine. But he has forgot the main password for station settings.. Sad Can anyone tell me is there any way to retrieve password for it? Any software or a way to reset the station completely? Would appreaciate it alot..
