On the 1999 G3 PowerBook (Lombard), is the ethernet port in any governed by the circutry on the internal modem card? Or is the circutry for the ethernet connection on the logic board itself?

Ok then. Somehow, the chipset that controls the Ethernet port on my Lombard got FUBARd, and i saw a lot of 10 Lombard internal modems on eBay today for $1 plus $5 shipping, so...
