I've finally built my 'semi-dream' G3 Mac from parts of other ones I had at home. Yes, it's slow, but they're paid for.
Currently it consists of the following:
-G3/333 with 1024KB L2 cache
-20GB Hard disk
-Yamaha 16x4x? CD-RW drive
-Zip 100 SCSI drive (I use them for small backups)
-ATI Nexus 128 16MB PCI card with VIVO
-Generic USB2/FW400 card (ALI chipset) - 2 USB and 2 FW on back of card, headers on the card for 4 more USB ports.
-10/100 NIC with Realtek chipset
MacOS 10.2/9.0 (I'm in the process of updating them)
What I would like to do is be able to capture video throught the video in port on the video card. I know it won't burn DVDs in its current state, and that's OK for now. Ican copy it over to the PC and burn the files on its DVD burner.
