Educated guess...

No. No Macs since the G4 towers have been dual-boot, AFAIK.

No.

The most reliable guideline for determining this is that if the system can take "Airport Extreme" and uses DDR RAM, it ain't booting OS 9. The Mac Mini is thus excluded.

The only half-exception to this rule I know of is a discontinued version of the eMac which had Airport Extreme (but no DDR) and came with *special* version of OS 9.

Hey mods, this macandmoney has been spamming threads for a while now with his/her business urls, any chance o'banning? This poster obviously has an interest in promoting these very commercial sites, not what I'd call acceptable use . . . or am I wrong?

I don't see a whole lot of spamming going on. Most of the URLs (not including the one in their signature) look legit to me.

uhh, 6 posts and every one pr

uhh, 6 posts and every one pretty much just mentions the url of his/her commercial sites. If that's not a spammer, then I'll eat my hat! Damn, why I got my bowels in an uproar about this poster I dunno . . .

Alright, since you called me on it, now I gotta back up my accustation. Sigh, here goes:
Thread #, quote

7037="No it is not only g4 up to 1.25 ghz or cube can do it ask this place they have them both snip.com"
7047 = "These guys buy all used macs or will trade it for another one, new or used ones www.snip.com or www.snip.com or www.snip.cm"
6518= "Try to sell or buy from this site www.snip.com"
7004="contact these websites www.snip.com or www.snip.com the will provide the information to you for free.the second site www.snip.com also have many diagrams for how open and close and all the parts for macs."
6998="call them up they trade mac with any Pc or other macs you may have tel# xxxxxxx-4771 or emailthem at www.snip.com they are good and fast i made couple of deals with them.. they do have new and used macs g4 or g5s to sell. email them what you want and they make a deal"
6993="the Pin hole id on rigth side of the cd toward the lowerend if u need more info go here http://snip.com/scripts/explodedviews.asp"

This last link actually does have the exploded views as promised, but of course they are Apple copyrighted material (from Apple Service Source manuals) used without permission and in violation of any NDA they might have signed . . .

'K?

As an addendum to the above post, visiting the sites mentioned shows some pretty shady content, definite spam.

The original domain was oblit

The original domain was obliterated by a mod. I'm not surprised that snip.com is a functional site, just that is it Russian based...
