Which DVD drive for PowerMac G4 AGP

Hi all!
I need to replace the DVD drive in my PowerMac G4 AGP 400 MHz. Would this

    DVD ± RW 8.5GB PIONEER DVR-109BK Black-OEM
be compatible and allow the PM to boot under Tiger without trouble? Thanx for your advice in this matter?

It works!

I bought the DVD ± RW 8.5GB PIONEER DVR-109BK Black-OEM drive yesterday! And it works great Wink Does anyone have an idea how to flash this drive? I have looked around and it seems I need a PC to do this for this drive!

The drive should work fine as

The drive should work fine as a standard read drive. But for any ability to write you will need to use PacthBurn. I have a Pioneer DVR-108 and LiteOn 52x52x36x16 Combo drive with my g4 here, both work great with patch burn.
