I did the unthinkable and took apart my ibook. Well maybe thats not the unthinkable on this forums.
I was putting it back together when I came to this rail thingy that looks like a long L. It appears to fit over the cdrom drive but I can't for the life of me figure out how it goes on. Anyone know how? I wish I could take a picture of what I'm talking about but I don't have a digital camera.
Also the connector for the trackpad has dislodged the ribbon from the connector itself. DOes this mean the trackpad is dead?
