Painted Ibook parts on new Ibook?

Will the painted plastics of a 500-700mhz ibook g3 fit on a new ibook g4 1.33ghz?
The reason i ask is because i wanted to try one of the tronbook like hacks but i dont have the clear ibook plastics, and before i buy them i want to know if they will fit my ibook.

Yes

Apple did not change the display case plastics, so the display lid will work. Other parts, no.
