Dropped my PB3400, now display won't work (flickers)

I dropped i about 1 foot off my bed. The computer still works, the hard drive still works and boots into Mac OS (which I know because I can hear it making those sweet sweet Platinum Finder noises). The only probleem is the display.

I know the LCD itself isn't broken because it still lights up. It also has some flickers of activity on it from time to time. What does all this mean?

Is the internal connector thingy from the motherboard to the display? Or is it just broken and now good for parts (it has a sweet and rare 128MB RAM card that I've been meaning to put into my hungry Kanga anyway)

I would

tear it apart and check the cable at both the logic board and the lcd itself. I had something similar happen on a TiBook, and resetting the connection solved the problem.

Now umm how do I go about dismantling a 3400? Rumor has it that it was not exactly the most user-friendly PowerBook ever designed...
