Unidrive 3.5 issue

I recently picked up a unidrive 3.5 of unknown working condition to use with my ROM4 //c. Unfortunately, seems like the condition is not working. When I put a disk in, it makes a sound like it's trying to line up the peg with the hole on the disk hub. Then when I boot it on my IIgs (the //c is currently boxed up), I hear a motor inside spin on-off-on-off-on-off and then the IIgs just gives me the sliding Apple error screen. I should note that I disassembled it before doing anything and cleaned the heads carefully with a qtip and 99% IPA.

Apple II Gameport EPROM Programmer

I saw this page which has a description for an eprom programmer:

https://www.applefritter.com/appleii-box/H049_AppleIIepromProgrammer.htm

Is there a ready made layout file I can use to order a PCB?

And is there a proper BOM list somewhere, which makes it easier to order the correct components?

Removing IIGS shield for retrobriting

I have a heavily yellowed IIGS which I'd like to retrobrite, but am worried that the hydrogen peroxide will cause the shield to rust.

Given that the shield is effectively welded to the case, is there any good way to remove it and put it back? Thanks!

Lobo 5.25" Drive info?

Does anyone have any experience with the Lobo 5.25" drives for Apple II's? I have one here that is non-functioning --- in fact, plugging it in to the Disk II controller prevents the system from booting at all. I'm quite certain the cable is connected at both ends properly. I'm having a lot of difficulty finding any information about these drives at all... and I also can't seem to find any information on why plugging a drive in would prevent a system from booting. Any thoughts?

Franklin Ace-1000 Beeps (sometimes) with a Garbage Screen

Just picked up a Franklin ACE 1000 and I have an issue.  The computer powers with a screen full of garbage (various random characters, many inverted, with a few random solid and checkered blocks mixed in), and will beep on power-up most of the time (every so often it's silent).  Usually hitting reset will cause it to beep, and typically change the garbage on screen (fewer characters, or more spaces, lots of exclamation points).

Franklin Computer Disk Interface Card

I got this disk interface card together with an apple IIe some years ago.

There was no documentation with it, although I don't think I need one.

The card was not working, but I found that the 74LS373 was faulty, and after replacing it, the card works.

Notice the jumper pins just to the left of the blue connector?

I am guessing this means that the card can handle 13 sector disks and 16 sector disks.

Without a jumper the card displays the screen below when booting (or when using PR#6). See photo 3.

How awesome is that?

Problem Apple //e board displays horizontal bars and graphical glitches

So I've had this Apple //e problem board for some years now.  The board itself has some really bad sodering on all the RAM sockets, as well as the sockets for the EF-ROM and the S02.  The fist RAM chip has a lot of bodge work (one of the pins seems to be free floating even) but as far as I can tell, everything is connected to what their supposed to be.  The 'new' sockets appear to be double swipe, so decent quality.  However, it still won't boot.
