Guys.

Is there a way to perform a diagnostic on an Apple iie so that we can be sure 100% that the motherboard is working?

Apple II monitor drops image shows again after power off / on

Hello,

I've bought an Apple II monitor (A2M2010) to replace my Apple III monitor.

When I turn it on it shows image but after 30 secs / 1 min. the screen goes dark. When I turn off the monitor and turn it on again the image shows again for 30 sec / 1 min.

Any idea what could cause this and how to fix it?

"Corrected" Apple IIe LC card Y cable pin out

I seam to have lost the corrected version of the pin out for the LC Apple IIe card...

Trying to remember Apple II edutainment titles

Back when we were still using Apple IIs in Australian primary/elementary school, I remember playing a particular game, in which one stage involved a truck (I think?) catching different shapes as they fell down the screen, like some kind of polygon factory.

A complete long shot, but does anyone recall an edutainment game with this sort of stage? It's pure nostalgia for me to seek it out.

Editing ProDos time/date stamps?

Does anyone know of a utility that can edit ProDos FILE & DIRECTORY time/date stamps? Or at least create them?

I'm in the process of restoring some disks and I find myself in need of such a tool. It can be either on the PC or Apple II side of things.

Superdrive issue

I wanted to format a number of 3.5” floppy disks so for this I set up a IIe where I could easily reach it beside where I was working. Decided to use a superdrive controller and my only two original superdrives. Pretty soon I noticed an unusually high incidence of errors while formatting. While I went to get a head cleaner I tried formatting with the other drive. Same problem. Cleaned the heads but no real difference.
