Apple //c Blown fuses.

So My //c just up and quit on me a few weeks ago.  Would have gotten to it sooner, but I had to replace my multimeter.  However, now that I have one again, I was able to trace at least part of the issue to a partially blown fuse in the power supply.  It's not completely blown, as I do get some continuity across it, but there's a lot of resistance and it was only putting out about 0.2 volts.

Help identifying an Apple ii video card 184-42-010

Hi all,

Just wondering. Does anyone have any information available on this video card.

I think it was made by DEC and has the number 184-42-010.

Looking for a specific book of BASIC games

For quite a while now I’ve been looking for an old book of Apple II games I used to check out from the library when I was a kid. It had a Space Invaders clone in it, and it was just about the only Apple programming book I've seen which extensively used sprites in its programs. Several of the games had sound effects routines encoded in DATA lines. But I don’t remember the title. The font was tiny and the programs were very long, and I think the cover was yellow, but my memory of it has grown hazy. Anybody know what this book was?

Apple IIC floppy drive can read.. but not write floppy

Hi, I have a very strange problem with an Apple IIC.  (To better understand the issue I attached 3 videos)

Initially I suspected the problem was the drive, so I bought a new one but got the same behavior (Heads cleaned on each one).

I can read, but not write or format floppy (by using ADTPRO). I also tried to load DOS using ADTPRO and execute the command INIT HELLO, without no success.

Disk ][ Interface Card Error

Well, I did something stupid today.  My apple IIe was powered on and I removed the Disk ][ Interface Card.....  Now the card will not allow the system to boot, green horizontal strips.  Remove the card no problem.  What would be fried on the card?  I can't figure it out with my basic multi meter test.

Thanks

Need help identifying expansion cards in Apple IIgs

Hi,

I am looking at purchasing this Apple IIgs ROM01 system. Since I am new to the Apple IIgs world can anyone help me identify the cards installed in the system. This is this only picture I have of the motherboad. I have asked the seller but I don't think they are familier enough to ID the cards.

I know there is a memeory expansion card in front slot 8, but the others I have not idea. The card that concerns me is the card having the cabel soldered to  the Number Keypad header. Any idea what this card is?

Many thanks for any response.

Why Not the DIsk /// ?

This is a speculation thread, and surely something for those who want to discuss hypothetical stuff:

In 1982, Apple released the //e, knowing that the /// was dying. At this time, they had a large inventory of Disk /// units that were unsold.

Why did they never make a Disk /// controller card for the //e?
