Apple II

New user, ][+ not working...

Greetings all!

I have just come into the possession of an Apple ][+ which unfortunately doesn't seem to be working.

Details:

On the motherboard there's 820-0001-07 written with copper etching next to the PSU.
At the back corner next to the PSU there's a white field with either '10/8' or '1078' in black lettering.
(Very vague)

The Keyboard encoder is marked with 'Encoder Discrete Keyboard' and '605-x105-'
(The last '0' is incomplete, so could even be a '9')

Keyboard problems

I just got my Apple IIe I bought on eBay and I'm having some minor problems mostly with the keyboard. The Q key I have to press downward a bit to get it to print Q and the O key isn't even working at all. Is there anyway I can find out what the problem could be? Thank you.

My Apple][ has problems...(sob)

The other day I decided to break out my good ol' Apple II with DUODRIVE and monitor and give it a go after some 15 years of inactivity. My Apple has an 80column + 64K explansion card, a Practical Peripherals Graphicard and the duodrive controller.
Well the system boots up, but won't load any of my over 100 5'25" floppies. It will load some data, but it is all corrupted. I can see this because the raster images that appear are garbled, and the garble changes if I reset the Apple and reload the same floppy.

1) I have a Z80 Card, and there are 4 on/off switches on it. I was wondering what they do and if anyone has any information on the switches?
2) Does anyone have any .dsk images of a cp/m boot disk or software that you could Email me?
3) Is there a particular Slot the the Z80 card should be in?

Two old Apple ][+ software questions

Hi,

Need Help Crossing Over the Line from Apple IIe to PC Emulation

I have a customer who still has an old Apple IIe running 1 application he sees as important to his business. He is worried the Only Copy of this application which is on a 5 1/4" floppy will become corrupt, or the Apple IIe will die.

He would like to move the App to a PC thru emulation. I need to find a way to do the following:

1. Backup the original Copy of his App, I presume to another 5 1/4" floppy

2. Copy the App from the Apple IIe or floppy to the PC (an Image I presume)

3. Find a good PC Apple IIe Emulator (Shareware or Freeware)
