Apple II 50 Pin Slot Specifications

I know there are several folks who probably have this information.

What are the specs for the 50 Pin slots for the Apple II, II Plus, and IIe?

Also, is there a particular supplier(s) that I can order them from?

New retrobright equivalent undergoing testing.

One of my summertime non-electronic projects was to find a a Retrobright equivalent. I call it BudgetBright, because you can get all the chemicals at your local supermarket food store.

You don't need UV lighting or sunlight. The gel/gum factor isn't as important compared to Retrobright. In fact, you don't need it at all.

Haven't seen any mention here of this product. Overview from the site:

This board will connect a standard, modern USB keyboard to a classic Apple //e, via the //e's logic board keyboard connector. The RetroConnector Keyboard Interface replicates all of the functions of the original keyboard, with the added ability to program (using the Arduino IDE) macros, custom key bindings, and special keyboard layouts not available in the original hardware.

10,000 Apple II screenshots added to Mac GUI Vault

What is this file? That's a good question when it comes to these Apple II files which often have pretty cryptic names, such as "Mmgrdosinst." Earlier this month, file catalogs were added to show the contents of ShrinkIt archives and disk images, but that only helps a little. Having a screenshot of what the program looks like is a much more valuable asset.

Recommend a configuration for a new (old) enthusiast?

I'm putting together an Apple II system as a gift. A reunion gift more or less. I have about 6 weeks to spec it out and gather the parts. Some of which I have laying around, some I need to purchase. This is for a user that had at one time had one. But has not used one in like 20 years.

In my early days of modeming and bbs'ing I used ASCII Express and Novation Com-Ware, and the utilities that came with my MicroModem II. I also wrote and modified stuff to make it do what I wanted.
