need help

I just got a teac cdr and I cant find a mac driver! it says on the TEAC website that I will have to use Toast. Is there any way OTHER than buying toast that I will be able to use my CD-R55S CDR?

The forums are clunky, nothing seems to work correctly to my liking, I hope we coustomize it a whole lot...
