Macintosh Portable: Can a backlit screen be backfitted to a M1520?

Of course I don't have a M1520 to test this on yet, it is in the mail, but I was wondering if a replacement screen for a M1526 Portable could be used in a M1520 Portable? Does anybody know anything about this?

While we are at it, does anybody have a good Ni-Cad replacement hack for the lead-acid battery that goes in the unit?

Trust me, there's a reason it's lead acid. You want plenty of umph to run that board (and hard drive and floppy drive...). There may be a way to do it, of course, but battery life might be shockingly (heh) short.
