News From A Parallel Universe

Feb. 6, 2006 - Seattle, WA

Today, attorneys for Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft (NASDAQ: MS) announced proceeding with the next phase of their "look-and-feel" legal action against industry giant Apple, claiming that the Cupertino, California company has a deadlocked monopoly on both the operating system and computer market. Company chairmen Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs could not be reached for further comment. However, a spokesperson for Apple has assured the media that "we are merely giving the public what they want."
Currently controlling 75% of the OS market, Apple's premier software package, Rhapsody 86, is found on more computers worldwide than any other software, edging out chief competitor Digital Research's own GEM-X and CP/M-2000 in the desktop market. Microsoft's Windows OS currently holds its own at 5% of the market.

sadly it probably would be wo

sadly it probably would be wozniak. If the company went bad, Jobs would make him the figurehead of the company and the general public would give him the horns and beard.
