Ive got a pismo and i was putting a new screen in, and when i turn the machine on, the backlight comes on but after about 2 seconds, it turns off. Ive checked all of the connections, reset the of, reset the pram. Any suggestions?

ive got an odd feeling that its my inverter board, does anybody happen to have one to spare that they dont want, id be willing to trade for it.
Do you have a volt meter? This is kind of risky but stick that in the inverter plug, fire up the machine and see if it is pumping out any voltage. If it isn't, then you know its the inverter
ill try it, but that might not necessarily tell me what's wrong. I mean, what if the mobo is not supplying power to the inverter. Does anyone know the pinouts on the mobo fot the inverter connector?
i checked it and its definitly the inverter. so if anyone has one, id be very thankful!
