CFFA and IIgs MicroDrive IDE Controller

Other than the prices, what are some of the differences between the CFFA and IIgs MicroDrive IDE Controller? They both seem to have similar features, as far as I can tell. Which one may be better suited for my ROM1 IIGS?

I am unable to comment on the IIgs microdrive as I don't have one. On the otherhand, I can recommend the CFFA whole heartedly. Its support for the IIgs is fantastic. I have one in my IIgs, II+, and III. Soon, I hope to have one in my Apple I clone. GS/OS is very well supported and quite fast. Along with a 9 MHz accelerator and 4MB, GS/OS is actually useable.

I have to agree, I have a CFF

I have to agree, I have a CFFA, and a 4MB RAM board and it's really nice. I don't know about speed but claims are near DMA speed with the GSOS driver enabled.

I have the Briel 4MB board and I love it too.
