I just got a Laserwriter 630, and I want to use it on my network with my laptop running 10.2. I plugged the thing in using a AAUI to 10BT adapter, and nothings showing up in Print center. Seeing as I only got the unit itself, is there any software or configuration I need to do/get? Thanks.

Plug the printer into your Mac. Go into Print Center (in 10.2) or Printer Setup (10.3). Click the Add Printer button. From the little list of sources, pick AppleTalk. Hopefully that should make it show up.
If you're using Jaguar (10.2), you may need gimpPrint. Look on Versiontracker for that. Once that's installed, just hold down Option while clicking the Add Printer button, and it should find the LW.
I use Panther and my LaserJet 4L with GimpPrint (built into Panther). Works great.
