MacBook Shopping for a friend. :) *help and advice needed*

Hey Fritter Critters!
My best friend is mac shopping, and is on a tight budget, but wants a mac that will stay current for about 3 years.
Tell me if this one Here looks alright.

She's a writer and would mainly use it for iTunes, web surfing, iWork, iLife and Face-Book games at the most.
She's coming over to my house in a few days to look at my MacBook Pro (late 2010 13" C2D) to get a feel of macs. Originally, she wanted a brand new 15 inch MBP, but then had sticker shock. I told her a used one would be fine, because I ran from july of '09-Christmas 2010 on a tangerine iBook clamshell (Not easy xD)

Thanks guys! Any help would mean a lot to us :3

Ranger,

It looks to be reasonable to me.
The only question I have is if you have looked for something like this with a CDRW/DVDRW unit instead of just the CDRW/DVD?

Or does that make a difference to your friend? Smile

That probably won't make much of a difference. Besides, If she needs to burn a DVD, she can just send the file to me and I'll burn it. (She's also got a brand new gateway tower at home that does that)
Oh, and do you know if this model has multi touch gestures or not?
