I am selling my father's original Apple II computer. The motherboard is an original Apple II and has been upgraded to the maximum 48KB of memory. Everything seems to be operational. The computer turns on, disk loads, keyboard works, monitor works etc. The computer comes with a whole bunch of peripherals and extras including two disk drives, green phosphor monitor, original owner’s manual, thermal printer (with extra roll paper), dot matrix printer, joystick, surge protector, graphics board, printer boards, boot and other various disks/cassettes (including some games). If you are local, you can come see the computer in action, however, the computer sells as is...no tech support

looks like it was upgraded to a II+ at some point (Autostart + FP BASIC ROMs) and it has 16k RAM expansion (for a total of 64k) It'll worth more if fitted with the old monitor ROM + interger BASIC ROMs.

I didn't see a photo of the board Serial Number, or case Serial Number.
Could you tell us what they are?
I think the power supply is the most interesting part: notice on the sticker that under the handwritten "30" in the model number it isn't an A2M001 but rather some other model number I'm not familiar with. That and the PSU's low serial number 03007 makes for (in my opinion) a curious combination! Wonder what that's all about? Another transitional little-seen PSU model between A2M001 and 605-5703 units?

Well from the pics it's not a rev 0, you can see the color killer transistor.
The supply is interesting. This isn't the first supply I have seen with a written over part number.
Maybe it was modified to a different spec. The original supplies had a bad internal ground mechanism. Later supplies had a wire and screw to the case. However there is no way to know without a drill and a pop rivet gun.

Hey Everybody. Thank you for your interest learning more about the computer. I haven't had time to take more photos of it, however, this is what I have learned so far:
Case Serial # - A2S1-20567 (Black text on white sticker)
Motherboard Date # - 7909 (My father remembers buying this computer around march of '79)
Power Supply Model # - The model number is partially covered up by the case. This is whats visible: A A110 (the "0" is questionable since its half covered..there could be more after that)
The supply has a voltage switch currently on 115 volts. The specs say it can do 105-132 VAC or 200-265VAC.
There's no doubt that my father bought and paid for an apple II. He remembers the original computer came with both applesoft and integer. The rom chips on the motherboard appear to be applesoft chips. But I don't think that disqualifies it from being a apple II, thoughts?
He believes the computer was in fact upgraded to have 64kb of ram via an additional 16kb expansion card/language card (the super ram II card sitting next to the power supply). The expansion card also provided the ability to boot from a disk drive or have an f8 rom installed which would allow for autostart. He never bought an autostart rom but rather booted the OS from the disk drive.
In case it was confusing from the photos, the readout on the screen says apple II+ simply because the boot disk is a later version DOS 3.3 not because the OS was loaded in an autostart rom.
If you notice, there is also an additonal graphics card installed. We arent really sure what thats about or what value it adds. The video out from the motherboard is being fed through this graphics card and then outputed to the monitor. There is also an RF modulator in there but it's not connected to anything (maybe the graphics board eliminated the need for it).
Please post any follow up questions or thoughts. I will try to stop by over the weekend to take some more photos and update the gallery.
