Evening all, finally made the shelf space in my office to gather up the primary volumes of my Apple II and Mac repair library.

I have quite a few more Mac books (non-Apple repair guides etc.) but these are the ones I use the most along with the Apple II binders.
I have a number of Apple II books as well but they are on a different set of shelves!!!

been slowly trying to gather up the various Apple Service binders. Something about hardcopy
that just "feels" good! That and I hate having to use my tablet or phone when working on machines. So much nicer to prop open the binder (or set on my lap)
and work that way, at least for me.

Just wanted to share, I'm so happy to finally be getting this stuff organized and off the floor/out of piles!!
(but not as happy as my wife!)

Very Impressive!!!

And I thought I liked to collect "real, paper" Documentation...

Are you going to start a Classic Apple Repair Shop??

I just love the manuals, binders, etc. Electronic copy is awesome for its searchability (is that a word? Searchiveness?)
and portability but when working in my office the books/binders just work for me.

Scary thing is there is a whole lot more than that, this was just the binder set I finally got (at least mostly) complete.

I'd love to open a repair shop but first I have to bring my soldering skills to a level somewhere above "mediocre at best" Smile

Zan,

I'm with you.
I like electronic files, but there's nothing like the feel of a real Reference Book!
I have about half or a little more of what you have right now and I'm still in process of gathering.

Hello Zan,
happy with you, that your binders have gotten a new home....
it just at the other side painfully reminds me about the 9 to 12 big movingboxes in my storage,
still containing all documentation about Apple II and it´s devices that still is remaining there in "homeless state"......
before last move that stuff was sorted in bookshelves 2 meter high and 4 meters long....
and in the new smaller appartment there ain´t that space to build up that large bookshelf again....
that´s the reason i´m permanently besides scanning that documentation to get it at least availiable
at my fileserver as pdf-files.... and i guess that task will last also for another 5 or 6 years...

Speedy, ship me the documentation (Germany to NJ, USA....perhaps a bit pricey!!)
and I'll gladly scan it all in.....of course it may not ever make it back to you but hey, it will be scanned!!!

Seriously, I was very happy to have them in their own, handy spot (on the wall to my right as I type this)
but I am always looking to expand the library.
