There is a ZIP CHIP in this configuration on ebay...

ZIP 4MHz, and a 3.5" FDD with controller and RAMWORKS III...Is this laser FDD with an 800K capacity? Is this a TTL components equivalent of the UDC controller?

Coincidentally, I looked at this very computer in person just two days ago lol! The seller lives about 45 miles away from me.

The 3.5 controller card installed in this computer is the earlier version (aka "Long" version) of the UDC drive controller card. The more common or "short" version of the card is pictured below:

It's a great card that works with just about every apple 3.5 drive except the unidisk 3.5... I still use the short version of the UDC card in my personal apple //e.

The only problem I've ever had with the UDC is the 5.25 controller aspect of the card. The UDC is supposed to be able to control both 5.25 drives as well as 3.5 drives.

Almost all of the UDC cards I've owned give an error when trying to read a 5.25 drive.
