The "Molar" Mac

Good Evening All,

I was up on ebay yesterday
and someone has a "Molar" Mac
for auction with a starting
price of $1,199.95.

Over the years I have seen them bought
for anywhere between $60.00 and $450.00.

I wanted to ask our learned panel of Mac Folks
what they think a "Molar" Mac is worth on todays market.

This is not a "This is Laughable" thread extension.
I really would like opinions of worth.

It's just an old G3 Mac. I wouldn't pay more than $30 for one.

They weren't common machines, but they weren't exactly rare either. I'd say $200 at most.

Re: The "Molar" Mac

There is one posted on eBay right now for a laughable sum. I agree that they aren't worth more than $100-$200, and that is being generous for the relative rarity. They weren't amazing machines and had fairly low end EDU specs. And the display (the main selling point of these being that they had integrated displays) was pretty terrible.

Peace,
alk

Thank's everyone for your inputs.

I was considering getting one
but what they want on eBay just
does not coincide with what I am
willing to pay.
