Apple II+ Astec power supply case

Hi All,

Recently, I experienced a bit of a disaster:  A 9-foot high shelf gave out, and several heavy retrocomputers crashed to the floor, some of them hitting my workbench first.

I happened to have an Apple II on the bench for repairs.  The power supply (Astec AA11040B) was out and disassembled on the bench, and the case got smashed.  The supply itself is repaired and working.  Does anyone happen to have an Astec case in decent shape they may be able to part with?

Some stuff also landed on the Apple II case itself.  The case held up pretty well, but 4 keys got broken off.  They are ALPS-style keys, I believe 705-0015.  I found some replacements on Ali-express via a DeskAuthority, so hopefully those will work out.  I still have to repair the main board (no video or beep with good power), but first I have to deal with the damaged units from the fall, as well as relocate all my machines and remove and replace the substandard shelving.

Many thanks,

Dave

Also, does anyone know the part number of a replacement strain relief for the power cable coming out of the end of the box?

Thanks,

Dave

I do just happen to have such

I do just happen to have such a beast.  It's a whole power supply complete with strain relief.  Just needs the capacitors changed (one done already) and should work fine as it works now but has trouble starting with a load exceeding just the MB.  Power switch has been changed.  But you could ditch the PCB and just use the case.

Make an offer.  It will probably take $18-$20 to ship it to you from Canada though.

Sorry I dont have spare cases, I do have spare boards.  A problem I have is I obtained a bunch of astec psu boards with no cables. Does anyone know where I cna source the cables? Or at least the connector and I could wire it myself?

Ooops

Seems to be a diff in RS's interpretation of the TE's part numbers, the link from VCFD has these two

https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/1-640520-0/A14113-ND/187722

https://www.digikey.com/catalog/en/partgroup/mr-miniature-rectangular/10457

Or RS UK

https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/pcb-connector-contacts/6801896/ for the pins

While the part number is right for the RS listed body, it describes it as Male, which is odd.
