Apple IIe Extended 80-Column Text Card for AUX - Has anybody remade this?

I'm trying to get hold of an Extended 80-Column Text Card for the AUX slot of my IIe, and was wondering if anybody had made a modern day recreation of it available as open source? It seems simple enough that somebody might have done.

I'm still searching, and can find the card on eBay, but there seem to be none in the UK, only the US, so I thought if there had been a recreation, maybe I could build my own.

Thanks in advance :)

There have been several,

There have been several, usually with much more memory than the original Apple cards (which only had 2k or 64k).

Garrett's Workshop makes a nice 8MB card.

Just ordered one, very good price at $35, only annoyance is shipping costs to the UK.

Yeah, international shipping

Yeah, international shipping can be expensive...  But $35 for an 8MB is less today than what Apple charged for a 64k back in the 1980s.  Before you even consider inflation.  And look up what an 8MB Applied Engineering RAMWorks III cost back in the day...

Absolutely, even with the shipping to UK it's a bargain. Next up I need a Floppy EMU, but that'll have to wait until Payday!!

Just got my AUX 8MB RAM board

Just got my AUX 8MB RAM board from Garrets Workshop, and although I can't set the memory at the moment as I lack a floppy drive (FloppyEMU is on order) I can at least now jump into 80 column mode, so that's a good start :)

I have to say it is very nicely made and is really good value for money, even buying in the UK and having it shipped :)
