Congratulations, Ult !! I think my last "new" Mac was my iBook G4 in 2005.
Since then, I've been building FrankenMacs out of retired machines. My current black MacBook is made from the parts of two black MacBooks and one white one.
I've gone back to using my Logitech Illuminated Keyboard. The keyboard the iMac came with is fantastic, but, the top of my desk is bowed slightly (from the weight of a 19" CRT, so the short keyboard has a tendency to wobble when i type. The longer (full sized, w/ numpad) Logitech doesn't have this issue.
That said, the Magic Mouse is awesome!
It's been a year, and the iMac still has that 'New Mac Feel'
Couldn't be happier w/ it.
Cool!
Nice indeed! My last new mac was in 1999.
Beautiful! Unfortunately all the Macs I have ever owned have been second hand, not that I really have a problem with that :coolmac:
I have a tendency to keep computers a really long time. My PBG4 (going on about ten years) was just recently replaced by a brand new ThinkPad, and the iMac replaced my MDD G4.
So, yeah... Couple of new computers every 10 years or so.
My desk, as it is today:

I know this might be a little off topic, but which model is that Logitech keyboard? What are your experiences with using it with your iMac and OSX?
It's a Logitech Illuminated Keyboard. ...And it's a keyboard. You plug in the USB lead and start typing.
That said, it is a fantastic keyboard to type on, and the backlighting is great for typing in a dark room.
Haha, I was wondering about other people's experiences with Logitech Keyboards and Macs, although they are supported natively by the OSX drivers I have found that the keys to boot from CD etc don't generally work. I run a S520 Wireless desktop with my iMac and not had any problems (except with booting from CD, although I don't have an Apple Keyboard to test that with to see if its the keyboard or the machine)
The Logitech Illuminated Keyboard is a USB keyboard. It is recognized @ boot.
Wow... Was this really that long ago?
I still have the iMac, by the way... It's still my every day machine.
